Role Overview
As a Digital Content Strategist, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative digital strategies that enhance our brand presence, optimize customer engagement, and drive traffic to our online platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product development, to ensure alignment of content with our overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, gaps, and insights to shape content strategy.
- Develop and execute a content calendar that effectively promotes our products and engages our target audience.
- Utilize SEO best practices to create optimized digital content that enhances visibility and drives organic traffic.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, web developers, and marketing specialists to create visually captivating and persuasive content.
- Measure and analyze content performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve results.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging these insights to enhance our digital content approach.
- Develop training materials and workshops for team members on best practices for content creation and digital marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in digital content strategy, SEO, or online marketing.
- Proficient with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Squarespace, or similar.
- Demonstrated expertise in content optimization and analytics tools including Google Analytics, SEMRush, or Ahrefs.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency across digital platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in e-commerce or a technology-focused environment is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with paid advertising on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and strategies.
